Mikumi National Park
Mikumi National Park is the fourth largest national park, encompassing approximately 3,230 square kilometers and situated at an elevation of about 1,290 meters. It is located approximately 228 kilometers from Dar es Salaam and 107 kilometers from Morogoro town, sharing borders with game parks such as Nyerere National Park, facilitating the movement of wildlife, similar to Serengeti National Park. This national park boasts a stunning terrain characterized by unique palm trees, savanna grasslands, alluvial plains, open grasslands, miombo woodlands, wetlands, and riverine forests, all of which provide excellent natural habitats for several wildlife species.
